A collection of art works by Mr Zhu, well known Chinese art designer.
Once worked as a stonemaker, carpenter and locksmith, and finally became a craftsman. In 1989 he began to study in Australia and started a career in interior design.
In 1994 Mr. Zhu went back to China and established his own company.
My furniture is not merely practical, more importantly it is a way of life with nature, goodwill and simplicity-Mr. Zhu.
Mr. Zhu has decided to launch his incredible textured design pieces in Australia under the banner "Citi Design" Known as the "Zeebra Collection"
Art designers are always chasing a kind of art taste that can not be expressed in words. It is a manner that is not determined by size, colour, shape and thickness, but by space, material, texture and form. It is a result of peoples perception of the design taste reflected in the man made objects.
That is what Mr. Zhu says as a result of dialogue between soul and objects. Mr. Zhu is a man full of energy, creative, imaginative and as a designer he has a special feeling and passion for the beauty of texture. Zhus products can be seen as art works that bring us unexpected pleasure, memory and wonder-by Mr. Wang, vice president of China Arts Association.
More and more excellent designers have appeared with rich experience and great successes. Mr. Zhu is typical of these designers. He constantly creates new works of furniture design such as "wind serial" and "thickheaded chair". He exhibits creativity, the soul of design. His work matches peoples life demands with emphasis on new materials and techniques. His work is modernistic and beautiful in appearance-by Prof. Zhang.
